Xmas Lights Big Switch on!

The Christmas Lights will go on in Motherwell Town Centre on Friday 14 November in a family - fun show in the Brandon Shopping Centre.

Glasgow’s Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus will join Clyde 1’s Gina McKie, players from Motherwell Football Club and stars from the Wizard of Oz pantomime, to switch on the Christmas lights, in what promises to be a fun packed show of family entertainment, featuring Clyde 1’s road show and local entertainers.

CALA Properties, owners of Brandon Shopping Centre, the heart of Motherwell, has invested more than £20,000 in the light display and in new decorations in and around the Brandon Shopping Centre.

This is the first year which we have arranged the Christmas lights, decorations and switch-on event and we promise it will be bigger and better than ever, says Alasdair MacConnell, Managing Director of CALA Properties.

We’ve got an excellent switch on show lined up featuring Michelle McManus, Clyde 1 and lots of local stars.

The investment in the new lights and decorations is part of our on-going commitment to improving the Brandon Shopping Centre and the shopping experience in Motherwell.

The Big Switch-on show starts at 4pm on Friday 14th November in the Brandon Shopping Centre in Motherwell.
